Theo Ludwick, from ITManagement.com, recently sat down with Javier Soltero, Hyperic CEO, and published a two-part interview. Part one of the interview introduces readers to Hyperic’s business model and how it began. Of particular importance is the fact that, as opposed to most open source management tools, Hyperic HQ began life as traditional proprietary software. Part two gets into the current state of IT management and where Hyperic fits in the IT management pantheon.
